Reduction Linocut Print - Side by side Abstract Landscape. I used these pieces to explore what it would be like to make the abstract landscape drawings, I have made the past, in print. I found the process quite fun! I learned a lot.
Reduction Linocut Print - I flipped the shapes from the inside of the square--out and added more with more carving. I choose to play around with color with these four prints, laying in color wet-on-wet. It was a fun process!

This robin print began as a Domestica.com project. I drew the robin, transferred the drawing to the linoleum, carved, and then printed this artwork. I explored the effect of texture in the bird and in the "chatter" space around it.
This was my first linoleum class. I took it at the Barn on Bainbridge Island. I had a lot of fun carving up this piece and making it come to life!
